Doris (Poirier) Woodward

Doris Woodward 80, formerly of St. Paul St., North Smithfield, died April 10, 2018. She was the wife of the late Joseph S. Woodward Jr. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Armand and Florence (Auclair) Poirier. Doris worked as a cashier for several area retail stores.

She is survived by a daughter Lisa Edwards of Mapleville, three brothers Robert Poirier of FL, Raymond Poirier of Blackstone, and Ronald Poirier of TN, two sisters, Pauline Laliberte of Cumberland, and Lorraine Ward of Woonsocket, two grandchildren Joshua Rowell and Amanda Hudalla, and three great-grandchildren, Kane Rowell, Skylar Frink and Jason Rowell Jr. She was predeceased by her daughter Sandra J. Woodward, and brothers Roger and Dennis Poirier.

Funeral arrangements under the direction of the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home are private. In lieu of flowers donation in her memory to Hope Hospice & Palliative Care RI, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904-9826 would be appreciated.
