Doreen A. Goyette 54, of Cleveland St. died January 29, 2018 at the Phillip Hulitar Center surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of John N. Goyette. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Simonne (LeCours) DuCharme. Doreen’s greatest passion was being a mother and caregiver to her family. Previously she worked at the former Eastland Bank as a senior bank teller. She was known as the host of “Mrs G’s Summer Camp” and often had several children playing in her yard. Doreen volunteered in several capacities at Precious Blood Church. She enjoyed gardening and camping.
Besides her husband she is survived by a son Matthew J. Goyette of Woonsocket, a daughter Pamela J. Goyette of Coventry, three brothers, David P. DuCharme of Woonsocket, Mark A. Lane of Foxboro, Brian J. DuCharme of Atlanta, GA and several nieces and nephews. Doreen was the caregiver of her aunt Lucille DuCharme of Woonsocket. She was also the sister of the late Michael R. DuCharme.
Her funeral will be held Saturday, February 3, 2018 from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM in Precious Blood Church, Carrington Ave., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Visiting hours are Friday 4-7 PM.
