Dolores R (Thibeault) Towndrow

Dolores R. (Thibeault) Towndrow 87, formerly of Bound Rd, died Monday June 4, in the Friendly Home. She was the wife of the late Charles Towndrow. Dolores was born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Ovila and Adelina (Tancrell) Thibeault. She was a stitcher for the former Narragansett Knitting Mills for many years retiring in 1993. She was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of AmVets Post 7. 

She is survived by a daughter, Carol Boucher and her husband Gerard of Woonsocket, a son Norman Towndrow and his partner Kelly Caron also of Woonsocket, nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.  Dolores was predeceased by her daughter Gail Bernier and son-in-law Richard, and siblings Edgar and Claudio Thibeault, Lorraine Lebrun, Cordelia Perreault, Florence Desmarais, Lillian Frappier, and Doris Elias.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 So. Main St, Woonsocket, RI, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 in Sacred Heart Church, Second Ave. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham. Visitation will be Tuesday 5-7 PM.
