Dennis A. Mercier 67, of Cottage St, died Thursday, January 3, at The Philip Hulitar Center in Providence surrounded by his loving family. He was the loving husband of Susan (Desplaines) Mercier. Dennis was born in Woonsocket a son of Lucille (D’Anjou) Mercier and the late Lionel Mercier. He worked in the maintenance dept. of Swarovski Crystal in Cranston for many years retiring in 2008. Dennis enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son Kyle Mercier and his wife Meghan of Brookline, NH, and their two children Maeve and Shea. He was also the brother of the late Raymond Mercier.

His funeral with Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, January 11 at 10:00 AM in St. Agatha’s Church, Joffre Ave, Woonsocket. The family will receive guests in the rear of the church at 9:30. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
