Cecile Remillard 89, formerly of Pond St. died October 26, 2018 at The Holiday. She was the beloved wife of the late Philip Remillard. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Edouard and Aurore (Lamothe) Dutremble. Cecile worked for the US Rubber Company until their closing. She also worked as a waitress for the former Quality Lunch and the Plaza Kitchen. She enjoyed doing crafts and playing bingo. Cecile loved to talk about her youth and attending the Notre Dame boarding school in Berlin, NH.
She is survived by two daughters Constance Henault and her husband Ron, and Lorraine Martin and her husband Mike McGee all of Woonsocket, a son Albert Pariseau and his wife Suzanne of Harrisville, a sister Doris Callegaro of Burrillville, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her siblings, Jean Rene Dutremble, Jeanne Lynch, and Gabrielle Levesque.
Her funeral with visitation will be held Friday at 10:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home 463 South Main St. Woonsocket, with a service in the Funeral Home at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory to The Holiday Activities Fund, 30 Sayles Hill Rd. Lincoln, RI 02865 would be appreciated.
