Cecile L. (Boucher) Hogue

Cecile (Laurie) Loraine (Boucher) Hogue 77, formerly of Pennsylvania, has finished her journey thru life and has gone home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at (6:05am) 11:02am at home with her granddaughter Danielle Joyce, granddaughter-in-law Dawn Brunelle, and her daughter Lori Degre holding her in their arms as she took her final breath. They were her caregivers. She was born in Worcester MA a daughter of the late Eldor Abel and Amanda Marie (Christman) Boucher. As a young adult she sang beautifully in the church chorus and had dreams of becoming a professional singer.

She was a Veteran of the United States Army. She was a seamstress at Wilson’s in Sharon, PA where she made custom draperies and reupholstered furniture. Upon moving to RI she was a mill worker on the assembly lines. She loved crafting and sewing. She made a lot of the gifts she gave.

She leaves behind four daughters; Tamera Williams of West Middlesex, PA, Sharon Flesia of North Kingstown, RI, Lori Degre and Patricia Joyce both of Woonsocket, twenty grandchildren, thirty six great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was pre-deceased by her two sons, Dale Emerson Hogue III, and William Wesley Hogue, a granddaughter Brittany Lorraine Joyce, and a great-granddaughter Madison Rose Degre.

There will be a celebration of her life on October 28, 2018 from 1-7 PM at St. Joseph's Veterans Hall, 99 Louise St., Woonsocket, RI 02895
