Carole A. ( Desjarlais) Lussier, 71, of Grove St., died Wednesday, January 3 in Landmark Medical Center. She was the beloved wife of Alan R. Lussier for thirty one years. Carole was born in Bridgeport, CT, the daughter of Rose (Joanis) Desjarlais, but lived in Woonsocket most of her adult life.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son Steven Joanis and his wife Bronya of Franklin, MA and four grandchildren: Steven, David, Anastasia, and Eli.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday, January 10, at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St, Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in St. Joseph’s Church, 415 Mendon Rd, Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham. Visitation will be the morning of the funeral from 9-10 AM.
