Anna C. (Spear) Laferriere

North Smithfield

Anna C. Laferriere, 89, previously of North Smithfield, died on December 20, at the Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam, CT. Born in Chelsea, VT, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Alice (Boulris) Spear. She was the wife of the late Edward Laferriere.

Anna worked for the Stamina Woolen Mill in Slatersville, retiring in 1993.

Anna is survived by her daughter, Linda Laferriere of North Smithfield and three sons, Edward Laferriere and his wife Priscilla of Harrisville, Gerard Laferriere and his wife Diane of Scituate and Dennis Laferriere and his wife Tracy of Putnam, CT, six grandchildren,seven great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Mark Laferriere.

Her funeral services will be on Friday, December 29^th, beginning at 9:00AM at the Fournier and Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main Street, Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Good Help, 1063 Victory Highway, Mapleville, RI at 10:00. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham.

Calling hours will be on Thursday, from 5-7PM in the funeral home.
