Alfred G Boucher

Alfred G. Boucher Jr. 86, of South Main St., died December 6, 2018 at the Blaire House Milford. He was the husband of the late Priscilla (Fontaine) Boucher. Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Alfred G. and Hortense (Varieur) Boucher Sr. Alfred was an engineer for the former Miller Electric Co. for over twenty years. He was a member of the Sayles Hill Rod and Gun Club, the Norfolk Aviator Association and the US Power Squadron. Alfred enjoyed playing golf and loved to tinker.

He is survived by his son Marcel N. Boucher Sr. of Bellingham, MA; daughters Lorraine T. Fitts of Douglas, MA and Janice C. Maietta of Mendon, MA; three sisters, Orise Fontaine of AL, Annette Shipley of WY, and Claudette Drainville of RI, nine grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

His funeral will be held Monday at 8:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 AM in St. Blaise Church, 1158 South Main St. Bellingham. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery in Cumberland. Visiting Hours are Sunday 4-6 PM.
