Muriel (Poisson) Boucher 87, of Avenue C died Thursday December 7, 2017 in Landmark Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Normand A. Boucher. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Wilfred and Lea (Plouffe) Poisson. She worked in the school lunch program for the Woonsocket School Dept. for over thirty years retiring in 2004 at the age of 75. She enjoyed a long career largely due to her love of children.
She is survived by five children of her own: Roger Boucher and his wife Patricia of Chepachet, Wayne Boucher and his wife Debra of Woonsocket, Georgette McNeally and her husband Russell of Belleview, FL, Aline Raymond and her husband Glenn of Woonsocket, and Debra Boucher also of Woonsocket. In addition, she is survived by seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, and was the sister of the late Lorraine Lintemuth.
Her funeral with Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 10:00 Am in Holy Family Church, South Main St, Woonsocket. The family will receive guests at the church 9:30-10:00. Burial follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham.
